An antique French Louis XVI style Vernis Martin decorated secretary cabinet. Top with a central cupboard and columnar support raised on roll top secretary handpainted and lacquered in "Vernis Martin" style with figural scenes. Frieze with a drawer decorated with extensive gilt bronze mountings. Fluted legs mounted with gilt bronze chutes and thimble sabots. Rare woods of very fine quality. 32" wide, 20" deep, 59 1/2" high. 13000-16000
