An antique French Louis XVI style Vernis Martin decorated secretary cabinet. Top with a central cupboard, roll top secretary hand painted and lacquered in "Vernis Martin" style with figural scenes. Frieze drawer decorated with extensive gilt bronze mountings. Fluted legs mounted with gilt bronze chutes and thimble sabots. Rare woods of very fine quality. 32" wide, 20" deep, 59 1/2" high.
