(Chiodo Brothers. 2016/2020) The screen-used puppet of Kirk Stillwood, hero of the sci-fi parody “Unbelievable!!!!!” This film featured performances by 40 top Star Trek actors - including Nichelle Nichols’ final film role - and unusually a single puppet character in one of the four lead roles. Puppet Stillwood is modeled on William Shatner’s Captain Kirk of the original Star Trek series, in a carefully non-license-infringing way, although production labeled it “Shatner Puppet.” The puppet was built on a generic body from “Team America” with a new face, motorized with two separate RC controllers included for just the eye and mouth movements. Along with the nearly Starfleet Uniform, the puppet comes with an alternate gold jacket with dress shirt front, two prop cell phones and a prop gold blackberry, a gold horn, and an Aeronautical & Space Services (A.S.S.) patch. The puppeteering tools included are the main control attached to the puppet, two sets of control (arm) rods, spare bars and wire, and the two RC controls for eye and mouth. Two spare face skins and a spare wig are included. The electronics have not been tested, and the control wires are tangled from storage. The puppet displays in very good condition, with typical wear from production use, including small scuffs and light wear to the foam face and hands. The puppet measures 8” x 4” x 23.5” tall, with a 13.5” x 4.25” x 8” control. The RC controllers measure 8” x 8” x 4” and are in good working good condition with wear from production use, including the tip of the antenna missing on the mouth control. The props measure up to 10” x 2.5” x 2.5” and are in very good condition.
