An Exceptional pair of Figural Porcelain Candelabra
Dresden, 19th century, underglaze blue marks
Each with four lights and three leafy s-scroll branches raised on tree form columns decorated with cherubs and a young lady standing on naturalistic domed bases, all extensively painted and gilded. Height 21 in.
Provenance: The Duke of Devonshire, property formerley in his Irish residence, Desmond Castle. Gifted by the Duke to Lucy Curling and by descent to her son Richbell Curling. The estate of Richbell Curling and by descent to his sister residing in Canada.
