An Etruscan Bucchero chalice, Italic, c. 625 - 600 BC, with low pedestal foot, the bowl with angled sides and ridge near the base, three shallow grooves midway to the rim. Nicely burnished surfaces with medium grey color. H: 3 2/3 in (9.3cm). Few minor chips and mineral deposits. Cf. Perkins, Etruscan Bucchero in the British Museum, (London, 2007), p. 29, no. 84 for the type; Ex South German private collection of an artist and art collector, purchased between 1960 to 1980.
