An American Order of Columbus temple sword, brass ornately cast crossguard, the pommel in the form of a medieval helmet surmounted with a dragon, the ivorine grip engraved with cross, laurel wreath and crown, double edged blade etched with the members name "F.H. Bayer", floral panels and knights in armour, makers mark of Ames & Co Kalamazoo, contained in it's steel and heavily cast brass mounts in the form of ancient armour, the steel etched again with the members name, blade 71cm, 28 inches, overall 94cm, 37 inches, slight rusting and dark patina. £100-120
