An 18th century Penningtons oval footed sauce boat having a blue transfer printed cell and foliate border to the interior and exterior beneath a beaded rim with angular biting serpent handle all above a band of raised stiff moulded leaves in turn above the raised oval foot. Length 6.5ins.
