Sharply struck with medium brown patina over the otherwise lustrous, crimson-orange surfaces.1879 Three Cent Nickel PR64 ANACS. This is an untoned near-Gem with expectantly abrasion-free features for the grade.1879 Nickel PR64 ANACS. The well mirrored surfaces are overlaid in soft lilac and golden-gray iridescence. Fully struck.1879 Dime PR62 ANACS. The obverse is toned in lilac iridescence that yields to cobalt-blue shadings around the rims. The former color is also seen, albeit irregularly, around the reverse periphery.1879 Quarter PR62 ANACS. Mislabeled on the ANACS insert as an MS62 example, the die rust lumps on the reverse confirm this coin as a proof (per Briggs, 1991). Peripherally toned with scattered hairlines and grazes in the fields.1879 Half Dollar PR62 ANACS. Warm russet and electric-blue shadings cling to the obverse border of this otherwise silver-gray example. Fully impressed.1879 Trade Dollar PR61 ANACS. Lightly patinated about the rims, the sharply defined features are not excessively hairlined for the grade.1879 Silver Dollar PR62 ANACS. This rim toned Morgan is fully brought up in all areas. The somewhat subdued mirrors confirm the PR62 designation. 8 coins Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
