Ammunition! And Remember... (Lot of 5) WWI Ammunition! And Remember...
Ammunition! And Remember... (Lot of 5) 30" x 20" Artist: Vincent Lynch. Printed for the Liberty Loan Committee. This poster prefigures the Norman Rockwell posters of WWII, on which he urged Americans to make sure that the soldiers had plenty of ammunition at all times. This fantastic poster features wonderful and rich lithography. The picture is that of a soldier holding his hand out asking for more bullets, with his machine gun smoking. A soldier without bullets was essentially defenseless in a trench to trench battle, and was at the mercy of his supplies at all times. A war without money was essentially in the same position. The message therefore was simple, giving money equated to giving bullets. A simple 2 + 2 equation for any person to see. This wonderful lot holds five of these posters; all magnificent in their colors and style. A once in a lifetime chance to get five a this price and condition!

Condition: Poster 1- Superior; one small tear on upper edge.
Poster 2- Fine; one major tear on upper edge, dirt residue present on edges.
Poster 3- Fine; water damage stains on upper portions of the poster.
Poster 4- Good; normal wear on edges from rolling/storage, creases and wrinkles from uneven rolling, pink liquid has spilled and dried on the verso staining it and some of the front edges.
Poster 5- Superior; dirt stains and residue on upper edge.
