Amida Nyorai is the Buddha that presides over the Land of Happiness world in the west. It is preached that anyone who offers prayers to Amida Buddha can die a peaceful death to Buddhists' paradaise. Amida Nyorai vows that whoever calls his name with deep faith shall be reborn in a paradise called the Western Pure Land.
