Blade is overall good condition, no nicks, some patches of pitting on the lower end, guard & pommel have a nice aged, mellow patina, the grip wire is intact with some scuffs to the leather. The 2 ring steel scabbard has been lacquered, good shape with a couple of very minor "door" dents on the lower end. Drag stamped "A.D.K." A.D.K. ~ Andrew D. King (1840-1865). A very nice example.
