American percussion dueling/target pistol signed H. E. Dimick & Co, St. Louis. 10-3/4” half round half octagon heavy barrel, .46 caliber rifled, squared iron guard, double set triggers, checkered walnut stock with fishtail shaped butt. The pistol is in good original condition showing a brown patina finish on the barrel and lock, some light case hardening showing through the patina on the lock, some scattered light erosion and pinprick pitting. The stocks are good with some even wear to the checkering and edges, some small losses where the stock meets the barrel on the left side. The front of the hammer shows a small loss from hitting the nipple. Generally good to very good overall. Demick was one of the more desirable American makers and was a competitor to Hawken.
