American half-stock dueling pistol. Lock marked “Joseph Golcher”. Barrel stamped “Adam’s Troop” in old hand-held die stamp. The pistol is approx. .60 caliber. The pistol measures approx. 16” overall with 9-7/8” barrel. Simple American styling with what may be an English imported triggerguard, with straight grain walnut, ribbed barrel, horned forend cap. The pistol appears to have been made as a percussion. The metal remains in good condition showing a brown patina, some light erosion and pinprick pitting. The stock shows some small restorations and repairs, light refinishing. An interesting early American gun. From the William R. Orbelo Collection. Est: $1,500 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
