Period American dicing box in original red paint. This mid 19th century American box is quite unusual. What makes this box so rare is that there are two lids. The top lid slides to reveal a second lid that is set at an angle. This allowed the pieces from the item that was diced to slide into the box below. Mad with square head nails. Measures 11 and one quarters long, five inches high and seven and one half inches deep.
