Today you will have the pleasure of bidding on this wonderful, colorful, sampler. Scene displays a beautiful, country house in colors of brown, tan, and a cream color. The lovely sky displays a very light color of blue along with some creamed color blended in to make a wonderful skyline. Lovely forest green grass covered with all shapes and sizes of brightly colored flowers. The walkway to the front of the house is in the color of grey. The frame is a beautiful gold framed, with the inside of the gold frame trimmed in army green paint. This framed sampler measures 19 1/2 inches tall by 15 3/4 inches wide. The back of the frame appears professional finished. Some writing on the back of who made the sampler, but most of the words has been marked out with a black marker. My eyes can only make out the words: Handwork done by Barb Weldon. Someone with good eyes would be able to make out the rest. It was made by Barb Weldon and given to someone, etc. I think that it even tells who did the framework. Original wire and hooks are still attached. The picure of the back of the frame shows the wire and it appears to look as though the bottom half is stained, but, it is not. An excellent, vintaged framed, sampler.
