The American River Water and Mining Company was formed in 1854 to build a ditch to divert water from the North Fork of the American River. The North Fork Ditch was dug from 1854-1856, and provided water for drinking, irrigation and mining operations to areas that are now Northeast Folsom. Toning. Two inch rip along bottom fold.
