The birds are seated on a Virginian Hornbeam tree near a very detailed nest of wasps. This particular example was disbound rather haphazardly so it exhibits a bit more roughness than most on the left edge; also has several sections of dark red toning on the lower and right edge; the image of the birds is not affected and is very pristine.
