Robert Hazard autograph with dedication addressed to ‘Jenni’ written on the back of newspaper clipping for the Electric Factory (Philadelphia, PA), dated 1982. Inscribed “Live at Go LA” “ROBERT HAZARD” / From 1:00-2:00 / FRIDAY JULY.30. The Robert hazard autograph was from a gig attended by the current owner in Philadelphia, PA – signed on a piece of a concert poster, circa 1982. 21 x 28 cm (8.3 x 11.0 inches). PROVENANCE: Private American collection.

Robert Hazard (1948-2008, American) was an American musician known for composing and recording a demo of the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", which Cyndi Lauper turned into a best-selling hit. He also composed the 1980s new wave and MTV hits, "Escalator of Life" and "Change Reaction", which he performed with his band, Robert Hazard and the Heroes, which was popular in the Philadelphia club scene during the 1980s. These songs appeared on the five song EP Robert Hazard, released in 1982. Hazard's first major-label album, Wing of Fire, was released by RCA Records in January 1984.
