American Indian-carved pipe stem showing figurals of turtle, bull, dog, and lizard. Measures approx. 26” in length by nearly 2” in width, light colored wood, possibly oak. Shows traces of paint, good condition, late 19th to early 20th century, probably southwestern United States. Stems are much harder to find than pipes, and this would be a graded edition for a good pipe stone missing its stem. From the William R. Orbelo Collection. Est: $1,000 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment.
