American Historical Society Commemorative M1 carbine by Saginaw SG, .30 cal., 18” barrel, re-blued and parkerized finish with gold accenting to front sight, front barrel band parts, magazine release, safety andadjustable rear sight; no magazine, wood stock with U.S. Navy inlaid medallion on right side of butt stock, #3389107 with presentation wood display case. This gun is in overall fine condition as customized tocommemorate the M1 carbine and the United States Navy with a slight spot of surface rust on the bayonet lug assembly from storage; a couple scattered mars to finish of wood stock from handling, otherwise crisp;case is in overall good condition with glass lid and royal blue lining, some spotting to the outside of the wood case’s finish; a nicely done Navy commemorative of the U.S. military’s workhorse for WW II and Korea.Est.: $700-$1,400.
