American Flintlock “Kentucky” rifle, signed “WL” on barrel. Approx. .38 caliber rifle, 39-1/2” medium weight barrel, .54-1/2” overall, full stocked to the muzzle, showing artificial or burnt striping, plain brass patchbox, German silver inlaid moons, spangles, and American Eagle on cheek piece. The rifle shows double-set triggers and plain brass mounts. The lock is signed Henry Parker, Warranted and the rifle shows an expert reconversion to flintlock which is hard to detect. The metal surfaces are good with some pitting on the lock and breech, balance a dark patina, the stock is very good plus with considerable varnish, some wear at the wrist and edges. An attractive late Kentucky rifle we would date about 1820’s to late 1830’s. From the Bernard Braverman collection. Est: $1,500 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
