American Flag or banner, circa approx. 1876, purportedly from a fort in North Dakota and was flown during the Centennial near the time of the battle of The Little Big Horn. Passed down through several collectors andfamilies. The flag is approx. 13’ by 6’, showing 38 stars, and is correct to the period of the Centennial. No written provenance or other information. Condition is fair to poor showing period stitching,separate stars, tatters, holes, and wear from being flown. Est: $750 - $1,500
