This is an exceptional early American Eastlake Walnut solid wood dining room table from the third to fourth quarter of the 19th century. The table is the epitome of the coveted Eastlake movement by Charles Eastlake showing an exquisite Arts & Crafts Victorian era design. The piece is truly one of the finer examples of this iconic era and is in fine condition. The table shows incredibly detailed legs having geometric accenting including spindles, low relief carving, incised lines and a large round base. The piece also includes three original leaves in matching solid walnut. The only visible flaw is a slight mark on the top as shown, otherwise is in pristine condition. The table has various original casters. Measures without leaves 53"x46.5" x 29.25"H. Previously tables similar to this have been valued at over $6,000.
