Eagle. <b>VF+. </b> Lee De Forest (1873-1961), the founder of this company was an American inventor and pioneer in the development of wireless telegraphy, sound pictures and television, among other technological advances. In 1902 when he organized this company he wrote "<i>Ultimately wireless telephony will be possible.</i>" He held more than 300 patents, including the triode, which is considered one of the most influential inventions of the century. De Forest is frequently called the father of the radio, as he established the first radio station in 1916.
