American 19th Century Percussion Rifle with German Silver Accented Half-Stock
Filed down blade front sight and fixed notch rear sight, with a faint makers signature on the top flat. The lock is marked "G. GOULCHER", with light border engraving, scroll designs and a scene of a bird in a field behind the hammer, brass hand rest trigger guard and double set triggers. Half-length maple stock, with a wood ramrod, pewter forearm tip, German silver accent plates in assorted geometric designs, a German silver patch box and a smooth brass buttplate.

Condition: Very good, with a mixed brown patina on the barrel and lock, showing pitting around the nipple and a crack in the hammer. Stock is very good, with pressure dents, a panel absent from the underside of the stock, and some absent nails from the patch box. Mechanically needs work as the hammer does not stay cocked.
