Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white
Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white to white pages. It took nearly two decades for this to become the most valuable Marvel Age book. After all, it came out several months after the book that's credited with having launched the Marvel Age, Fantastic Four #1. But around 1980, it overtook the first FF and hasn't looked back. Any self-respecting Marvel collector has to have it! From the striking Jack Kirby cover through the starkly effective Steve Ditko story art, this is the pinnacle of the Silver Age of Comics. Not only was Spider-Man introduced here, the book also had the first appearance of Uncle Ben and Aunt May. It's a tough book to find in VF 8.0 and better, and could you afford that anyway? This one's nice -- at FN 6.0, it ranks above the 80th percentile of unrestored copies certified by CGC to date. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $4,500. CGC census 3/07: 18 in 6.0, 99 higher. From the Madison Monk Collection.

Shipping: Slabbed Comic (view shipping information)
