But you may not know that according to CGC's current census, no copies, restored or unrestored, have been graded higher than 9.6 - and only one unrestored copy has received the certified grade of 9.6. So it goes without saying that restoration or no restoration, this amazing comic ranks among the absolute best of the best. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, piece added, tear seal." Unless you're the most hard-hearted of anti-restoration purists, this is a comic to widen the eyes and quicken the pulse; it's just <I>beautiful</B></I>. Overstreet 2003 VG 4.0 value = $2,526; FN 6.0 value = $3,789. <B>Estimate: $3,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
