Altered Browning Superposed Grade I Over/Under Shotgun, #1930, blue finish, .410 bore, 3'' chs., 26-1/2'' barrels with 1/4'' matted ventilated rib and silver front bead, combination top-tang manual safety and barrel selector, gold-plated trigger, chokes are stamped with Browning I.C. codes, the gauge is stamped on barrels and chambers. The 20 gauge ca. 1950 receiver has later game scene engraving with partially completed gold inlay work; original round knob stock and later forearm are gloss-finished walnut. Length of pull is 13'' over a 7/8'' Browning ventilated recoil pad. Mechanical condition requires assessment and repair by a qualified gunsmith. The later ca. 1960's replacement barrels are without the BAC address and do not mate entirely to the frame although serial numbered to match, top barrel has a 12'' series of bulges and ripples starting at the forearm and spreading upwards, deforming the top and side ribs. Action has indications of wear over time from different gauge barrels. Est.: $350-$500. (C&R)
