The present Alpina Gruen wristwatch was manufactured in Germany and dates to the time around 1930. The model has a manual wind movement and displays the hour, minute and small second. The white dial is fitted with luminescent hands and an Arabic index. The case is made of stainless steel and is attached to a white leather strap with pin buckle.



The watch is in good condition with light traces of age and wear; the leather strap is in worn condition. The dimensions of the casing are 30 x 30 mm and the height measures 6 mm. The strap is 20 cm long and the lugs measure 20 mm. During a short-term test, the watch was fully functional; but long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. (cbo)
