Extremely rare color 17.5 x 23 concert poster for the Quicksilver Messenger Service, Allman Brothers, and ZZ Top show at the Sam Houston Coliseum, Texas, on June 6, 1971, signed in ballpoint by Duane Allman and felt tip by Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and Berry Oakley. Noticeable creases along three horizontal storage folds, otherwise fine condition. Tragedy struck the band shortly after this concert—Duane was killed in a motorcycle accident four months later, followed by Oakley’s death in a similar collision the next year. Scarce in itself, the combination of signers from the Allman Brothers at their peak makes this poster an incredibly desirable and likely unique piece.
