Sportswriter (1898–1987) who specialized in writing about tennis, but also covered college football, squash, many Olympic Games, and rowing. Glossy 8 x 10 New York Times publicity photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For Jim Wiggins, Sincerely, Allison Danzig. March 23, 1970.” Crease touching his forehead, slight curling, dings to the left edge, and Danzig aggressively retracing the last name of the inscription and date, otherwise fine condition.
