Allen double barrel percussion pocket pistol, circa 1830-1850’s. Serial #724 in good original condition. The pistol measures 6-1/2” overall with 3” barrels of approx 41 cal smooth bore. The metal surfaces show alight gray patina, the right hammer shows a brazed copper repair. The grips are good, small marks, normal aging and some small losses. Action works but does not stay cocked. A favorite during the old west andgold rush era. From an old New York collector’s estate. Est.;$200-$400.
