Allen and Wheelock Lipfire Army .44 caliber revolver period converted to percussion, 7-1/2” half round/half octagon barrel, wood grips, #172. This gun is in overall good to very good as converted, even light brownpatina on metal surfaces with some scattered spots of erosion and light pitting, very good action, dark bore, visible markings, grips are overall good showing period cross hatch checkering; conversion is expertlyaccomplished and early style factory top hinged loading gate remains; brass front sight. Only approx. 250 of this Allen and Wheelock were manufactured in the early 1860’s and this is the only period conversion we have cataloged for public auction. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.

Little John's will send all purchases to our shipper "Mammoth Products Inc." for shipment. Buyer agrees to pay all material, handling, packaging, insurance and shipping costs. International Buyers agree to have their items sent to an exporter and agree to pay all cost incurred in their shipments including shipment to the exporter, shipment to their country, all duty and custom fees. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed. It is up to the buyer to know the local firearms laws in their state of residence.
