All iron hand-forged dagger, probably Italian, circa 1600 to 1750, showing turned and wrought quillons, grip, and pommel with triangular shaped blade. The dagger measures 13-1/4” overall with 8-1/2” blade. The areaof the crossguard shows some light floral engraving, and good quality workmanship. One quillon was broken and nicely repaired during use. Dark brown patina finish, some pitting and erosion. Est: $700 - $1,400
