All Through the Night (Warner Brothers, 1942). Title Lo All Through the Night (Warner Brothers, 1942
All Through the Night (Warner Brothers, 1942). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Broadway gambler Alfred "Gloves" Donahue (Humphrey Bogart) loves cheesecake, but when murder most foul takes the life of his favorite baker, Gloves vows vengeance. As he seeks the killer, a mysterious woman will help him unravel the Nazi's plans for espionage -- and the killing of people who make a good cheesecake is but the first of their evil plots! With co-stars like Jackie Gleason and Phil Silvers, one might expect a parody film, a light and rollicking extended comedy sketch. However, Peter Lorre and Judith Anderson are on hand to lend it the appropriate gravitas. The title card features a classic Bogart pose, gun in one hand, dame in the other. The colors have maintained their vibrancy, but the bottom-left corner is missing, the left edge has a small tear and light crease mark, and the top edge has some sawtooth tearing. Fans of Bogart will definitely want to own this title card. Fine-.
