<B>All-American Men of War #127 (#1) Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1952) CGC FN 6.0 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> Not only is this the first issue of one of the "Big Five" DC war titles, our specimen is certified just half a grade below the finest known copy. A mere four appear on the CGC census as of this writing. The numbering here reflects a continuation of <B>All-American Comics</B></I> (then <B>All-American Western</B></I>) -- a restart of the numbering would soon follow, and the series would run for 14 years. This first issue has a Jerry Grandenetti cover, with stories penciled by Grandenetti, Irv Novick, and Frank Giacoia. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $255.
