Green Lantern and Doiby Dickles star on most of the covers. Forget finding reprints of any of this stuff -- DC's <B>Green Lantern Archives</B></I> stopped at issue #38, and anyway these comics have more than just GL yarns. There are adventures of the original Atom, Dr. Mid-Nite, Scribbly and the Red Tornado, Hop Harrigan, Red, White, and Blue, Mutt and Jeff, and this being M. C. Gaines' company All-American, there's even a Picture Story From The Bible in the mix! Plus, every one of these meaty 64-pagers has heart-stopping house ads for new issues of <B>All Star</B></I>, <B>Wonder Woman</B></I>, and more. The covers of the issues look fantastic; the pages are off-white with some light tanning at the edges. The comics are bound in a gray paper cover stamped "Sep 5 1956" and with the titles and issue numbers handwritten on the spine. Three large staples that are holding the comics together are coming loose, thus a future owner would probably want to have these re-bound as a hardcover, an inexpensive process.
