Letter to a friend. In part: “Your birthday wishes touched me…Though I had thought that at my age the day should not be noticed…It would be wonderful to see you again. Do you not plan to come over—Paris is putting on a new face.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, filled out in Toklas’s hand and signed “Toklas” in the return address area.
