<B>Alfred Tennyson: Lot of Four Books,</B></I> two copies of <I>In Memoriam</B></I> (Boston: Ticknor, Reed, and Fields, 1850), 216 pages + 48 pages of advertisements at the back, one copy well annotated in pencil, the other missing two verses (included in pencil in the back) and four pages (including the title page); and, two copies of <I>Idylls of the King</B></I> (Boston: Ticknor, Reed, and Fields, 1859), 227 pages + 16 pages of advertisements at the back, one copy has the name of a previous owner in ink on the title page. All four copies have the original brown vertically ribbed cloth with decorative blind-stamping on both covers and gilt lettering on the spine. All copies have wear to the head and foot of the spines and slight cover rubbing.
