May I please send you my deepest sympathy because, as you know, I was acquainted with Cleo many, many years ago.” The return address from the mailing envelope has been clipped and stapled at the top of the letter. Matted and framed to an overall size of 15 x 18. In fine condition. Hitchcock refers to Fred Brisson’s mother, Cleo Willard Brisson, whose husband Carl appeared in two silent films directed by Hitchcock.
