Volunteer markings on blade and scabbard showing Union Shields; blade is etched “The American’s Pride, Equal Laws-Equal Rights and Justice for All”; blade is very good + to near fine with original polish and most etching; just slight beginning age; scabbard retains button hanger; a strong 8-1/2 on a 1-10 scale; 9-1/2 overall.
