ALS, one page, 8 x 9, postmarked July 4, 1974. Letter to a New York doctor. In full: “We will be in N. Y. C. in October, c/o Klaus Perls Galleries, 1016 Madison Ave, and if you could call me c/o Perls, we could get together with Klaus and discuss the matter.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, filled out in Calder’s hand including his signature, “Calder,” in the return address area, which has been clipped from the reverse of the envelope. The three pieces have been matted and framed to an overall size of 13 x 18.5. In very good condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds, the vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature, scattered creases, and dampstaining to the upper right.
