She spent some time in The Hague, where in 1674 she painted a portrait of Prince Willem III. As with Netscher her figures are commonly depicted in half-length view, while the rich fabrics of fashionable French dress is rendered in great detail. In accordance with the period's aesthetic ideal, the fingers tend to be elongated and pointed, while the background shows a park landscape at dusk.
