Two ALSs from Aldous Huxley, both addressed to Ken Browne. The earlier letter, dated May 24, 1956, one page, both sides, 5.5 x 7, in part: "My wife no longer plays the violin, having found that the career of an executant was too devouring of life, at least so far as she was concerned. I have no photographs fit to be sent to anyone—only monstrosities taken by press photographers." The second letter, dated October 8, 1956, one page, 8.5 x 10.25, in part: "I am still waiting for a photograph to be taken—so far in vain. But I have not forgotten your request." In overall very good condition, with irregular toning to both letters, a piece of old tape to one letter, and edge tears and fold splits to the other. Accompanied by the original mailing envelopes, both of which are addressed in Huxley's own hand.
