Alcoso "Dove" Pommel Army Officer's Sword With Knot. The blade is slightly curved, and is made of drop-forged steel, with a nickle-silver plated finish, and is approx. 33" while the overall length is 40". each side of the blade features athree quarter length fuller on each side. The blade features the "Alcoso" maker's mark, and retains it's original leather washer. The hilt is made of cast brass, and is decorated with oak leaves and acorns. the knuckle bow is in the "P"style, with a "dove" pommel. the grip is made of wood, with a black, bakelite covering, which is wrapped with brass wire. The cross guard features a stylized national eagle, clutching a canted swastika. The hilt retains it's original armypattern sword knot, which is made of green leather and silver/aluminum wire. the steel scabbard retains approx. 95% of it's original black painted finish. It is dent free, and retains it's hanger ring, throat, and two throat screws. The overallcondition is very good+ Est. $300 - $500
