<B>Album of Early Aviator Original Press Photographs.</B></I> A collection of 40 black-and-white photographs of various sizes from the Associated Press and International Newsreel Photo agencies with tipped-on captions as released, mounted in acetate sleeves and bound in a 12.75” x 15” ring binder. The album contains several photos of Admiral Byrd's tri-motored Fokker, shots of Lawrence Sperry, Glenn Martin, Bert Acosta and Roscoe Turner, among many others posed with their airplanes. Several small snap shots with aviation themes are also included in the lot. The lot is a gallery of prominent pilots and personages from the “Golden Age” of aviation.
