Fr. 623a is a very scarce Friedberg number, with PMG having graded only two examples, this piece and one other which they graded Fine 12. Tom obtained this screamingly attractive number 1 note from the 1996 Memphis sale, where it realized all of $1100. A dozen years later, expect it to realize a substantial multiple of that figure.
