Albert Schweitzer autograph letter signed, datelined Lambarene, January 1965. Written on the back of a picture postcard showing ''The landing place of the hospital,'' Schweitzer writes to Dorothy Riggle regarding political problems of the Congo. Signed in blue ink vertically on the left side of the card, “Albert Schweitzer.'' Written in German, with both pen and pencil translations above Schweitzer's handwriting. 4” x 5.75” card is in very good condition with transmittal envelope.
