Alan Bean's United States Space Foundation Award presented in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 9 mission at the 10th National Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on April 4–9, 1994. The award is shaped as a pyramidal 3.75 x 5 x 3.75 block of Lucite with an encased floating Earth artifact and presentation text along the bottom, with the front of the award signed in black felt tip, "Alan Bean, Apollo 12." The prime and backup crews of the Apollo 9 mission were given a tribute during the National Space Symposium's opening ceremony. Eight months after serving as the backup LMP for the Apollo 9 mission, Bean served as the prime LMP for the Apollo 12 mission, becoming the fourth man to walk on the moon. In fine condition. From the personal collection of Alan Bean and accompanied by a signed letter of provenance.
