Pre-World War Two Aladdin Alacite tall Lincoln drape kerosene lamp, with globe. This lamp is the most popular of all Aladdin lamps. The base is made from Alacite, which was developed in 1938 as an "ivory opal glass", according to website. The pre-World War Two formula contained uranium which causes the Alacite to glow yellow or green under a black light. This lamp glows yellow.

The lamp base including the burner measures approximately 13.5 inches high; without the burner, it measures approximately 10.25 inches high and 6.25 inches in diameter at the widest part. With the globe, the lamp measures approximately 24.5 inches high. The globe is not original to the lamp. It is a MACBETH PEARLGLASS globe. The brass knob on the lamp's burner says "MANTLE LAMP CO., NU-TYPE Model B, Aladdin, PATENTS PENDING, MADE IN U.S.A., CHICAGO, ILL.". The lamp base and the globe are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The burner and the oil fill cap show some wear and aging. The burner has not been tested to see how well it performs. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and general condition. Shipping / packaging will be $15 - $25, depending upon the location and zipcode of the buyer.
